Mosselman Sorbitan Tristearate (26658-19-5) are non-ionic emulsifiers obtained by the esterification of dehydrated sorbitol with fatty acids. These esters are mostly water in oil emulsifiers, but they can also act as oil in water emulsifiers when they are used in combination with the ethoxylated sorbitanesters.

Mosselman Sorbitan Monostearate 20 EO (9005-67-8) are obtained by the ethoxylation of sorbitanesters. They are more hydrophylic than the sorbitan esters itself and are used as non-ionic surfactants and solubilizers for water insoluble active products and essentiel oils. In combination with the non-ethoxylated sorbitan esters, they can be used as emulsifiers for oil in water emulsions. Mosselman Amide KDK is derived from a 2 : 1 molar reaction of diethanolamine and coconut fatty acids. They contain approximately 70 % amide dissolved in unreacted dietahnolamine and fatty acid soap. The soap acts as an auxilary surfactant which contributes to water solubility and thickening properties. Amide KDK is an exellent detergent and emulsifier and shows good water solubility and exellent detergency.
