Mosselman Linseed Stand Oil 30 P (67746-08-1) is a heat bodied alkali refined linseed oil with a light color, minimum subsequent yellowing, excellent pigment wetting and dis- persing properties and good drying.

It has an odor similar to that of yelow beeswax. though fainter and never rancid; It is tasteless and does not stick to the teeth.

Mosselman Linseed Oil Crude (8001-26-1) is obtained from the seed of the plant “Linum usitatissium”. This oil is mainly used in the manufacture of paints, linoleum, varnishes and printing inks.

Mosselman Tall Oil Fatty Acids 25/30 (8002-26-4) oil is a by-product in the production of wood pulp by the Kraft process. The “black liquor” which is obtained in the purification of the wood pulp which contains the sodium soap of the tall oil fatty acids and rosin acids. By acidification a mixture of fatty acids and rosin acids is obtained. By further distillation the fatty acids and the rosin acids are separated.

This amide finds use in a variety of industrial cleaners where it acts as a viscosity builder, for foam boosting and foam stabilizing, as dispersing agent, emulsifier and corrosion inhibitor. Amide ODV improves the detergency of other surfactants.
