AGITAN 766 is a highly effective siloxane defoamer which is specifically designed for the use in water-based wood coatings. It stands out due to its high effectivity to prevent micro and macro foam in medium to high viscosity systems. Furthermore AGITAN 766 provides excellent long-term efficiency and is particularly suitable for parquet lacquers, HVLP, airmix and airless spray coatings.

- Recommended Levels and Use
Normal dosage ranges from 0.2 to 1 % calculated on finished product. Ladder studies are recommended to determine optimum level. Due to its good emulsifiability AGITAN 766 is also suitable for low viscosity systems.

AGITAN 766 is not sensitive to freezing, but for better handling it should be stored between 15 and 25 °C. The product tends to separate during storage. Consequently it must be stirred before use. The minimum shelf life in closed containers is 15 months from the date of manufacture.
