Storage & Handling

Storage & Handling

The product becomes highly viscous and / or solidifies at low temperatures and therefore must be protected against frost. It is recommended to store and process the product at temperatures > 20ºC to avoid a decrease in its flow ability.

Elevated temperatures (> 50ºC) will eventually lead to hydrolysis with the corresponding increase in acidity, and therefore, should be avoided during storage and kept to a minimum during processing.

Preservation

The product does not contain a preservative as it is relatively resistant to microbial contamination due to the high concentration of the product.
