Can be used in powder coatings, can increase the hardness, scratch and abrasion resistance of powder coating, with the using amount at about 0.3%, can help to reduce gloss and will not smoke under 180°C baking.
- Contents and Usage
- In different systems, the additional amount of the wax powder is generally between 0.5 to 3%.
- Usually by way of a direct high-speed stirring, it dispersed in solvent-based coatings and printing inks.
- Through a variety of grinding machines and high-shear dispersing device is added, use the mill to grind, and should pay attention to the temperature control.
- Pre-dispersing treatment can be performed to prepare a concentration of 20-30% wax slurry, add into the system when needed, by which can reduce the wax dispersion time.
