It can be used in a wide variety of skin and clear hair care formulations. Also useful as a wet conditioning additive for shaving, bathing and shower products. It can exhibit plasticizing properties useful for modifying the properties of hair styling polymers.

With an HLB of approximately13, CSILCARE-0810 is a water soluble, modified silicone
polymer typically added to aqueous based formulations to impart lubricity and pleasant
skin feel. It can be diluted with water and / or lower alcohols e.g. ethanol. Due to its
surfactant like structure, CSILCARE 0810 will reduce surface tension and improve the
wetting properties of a formulation.

Storage

The product should be stored below 32°C. Below 15°C, a white precipitate may
form but this can be re-incorporated into the fluid by gentle warming and agitation.
Shelf life of the opened or un-opened container is 24 months from the date of
manufacture. If you wish to use this product after this time, please contact us for
details.
