- Csilcare-911 is a polymethylphenylsiloxane providing an easy-to-spread emolliency,
- nongreasy feel, and allowing natural skin transpiration through soft transparent film.
- Compared to Dimethicone, the phenyl substitution gives a wide range of compatibility with many emollients and ingredients.
- It has an excellent solubility in alcohol.
- Characteristics
Electrolytes, preferably NaCl at a level of 0.5%-2% should be added to the water
phase to attain storage stability. Adding some antifreeze agents such as propanediol
and glycerin can improve the antifreeze effect of the finished product. Increasing the
water proportion can improve viscosity of the system.

- Csilcare-911 is typically used as a hair gloss agent.
- Csilcare-911 imparts gloss, softness and better manageability to hair.
- Csilcare-911 reduces tackiness in skin care applications and imparts water-resistant properties to suncare formulations.
- Recommended use levels:
- Hair lotions: 0.5 – 5%.
- Skin care:
- Creams: 0.5 – 2%,
- For protection effect: 2 – 10%.

4. Deodorants and antiperspirants: 5 - 10%.- Recommended Dosage
The recommended usage level of this product is 1%-4%when it’s used as major
emulsifier, and 0.1%-1.5% as auxiliary emulsifier (according to the total amount of
the formulation).
