Natural Habitats Organic Palm Shortening is a soft and creamy all-purpose shortening with an entirely neutral flavor. Palm Shortening is vegetarian/vegan as well as a great alternative
for margarine or butter that will enhance the nutritional profile of your finished products, all without changing the taste. We offer Four Versions of Organic Palm Shortening (your Sales Manager will know what's best for your products):
MP 36: All Purpose Baking, Deep-Frying Donuts, Bar Soap, Body Lotions, Hand Creams.
MP 36 (our most popular shortening) has a melting point of 96.8° F. Our other shortenings are blended from the stearin and olein fractions of organic palm oil to produce different melting points for various applications. Organic Palm Shortening provides zero grams of trans-fat per serving and imparts a light, flaky texture
in pastries, biscuits, pie crusts and cookies.
