    D & C Green 6 is Dye & It gives coloration through solution. For coloration this product, first pre-soluble in any suitable medium ( light liquid paraffin, vegetable oil or compatible fragrances ). This dispersion is then used for the coloration of final product.

    Applications

    Mainly use in Drugs & Cosmetic products. Certified for use in by US FDA - Externally applied drugs and cosmetics - GMP. Not to exceed by wt. of total product:

    • Contact lenses: 0.03%:
    • Polyethylene terephthalate sutures: 0.75%
    • Polyglycolic acid sutures > size 8 - 0: 0.1%, size 8 - 0 and smaller: 0.5%:,
    • Poly (glycolic acid - co -trimethylene carbonate) sutures : 0.21%.
