They grant superior chemical resistance and low contamination from extractables in on line slots pharmaceutical and food handling applications. They have a very stable behavior at high temperatures (PFX 8048 up to 310° C.), allowing the use in critical applications such as Stage II Sterilization processes, where other type of elastomers lose their sealing capabilities.
