Anhydrous Hydrogen Chloride (AHCl) is a colorless gas which plays an important role in various technologies and in pharmaceutical/chemical industries. The majority of Anhydrous Hydrogen Chloride is used to produce hydrochloric acid, a solution of AHCl in water. Concentrations range from less than 1% up to 38%. The latter is referred to as “concentrated” or “fuming” hydrochloric acid.

Zinc Acetate is used as a catalyst in the production of polyesters, polyamides, polyether and vinyl acetate, in the in manufacture of acrylic emulsions, phenolic foam for thermal insulation, and alkyds. Niacet’s acetates, such as zinc acetate are used in the production of insulin. Zinc Acetate dihydrate is available as fine white crystals which are easily soluble in water.

Niacet’s acetates, mainly sodium acetate are used in the production of insulin. Additionally, as a constituent in insulin products, sodium acetate acts as an oxidative fuel preventing the body from producing antibodies during insulin injection. Sodium Acetate is available as an agglomerate and a powder (anhydrous) as well as a crystal (trihydrate). Sodium Acetate trihydrate is very soluble in water. Sodium Acetate anhydrous agglomerate offers the properties of non-dustiness, improved wettability, higher reactivity, higher bulk density, and improved free-flow ability.

Niaproof Monochloroacetic acid is used in the manufacture of carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), which is then used in the manufacture of adhesives; detergents; finishing agents for the textile, leather and paper industries; and drilling muds for energy production. It is an important intermediate for the manufacture of herbicide. Monochloroacetic acid can also be used for a number of further reactions besides those typical of Monochloroacetic acids.
