Anhydrous Hydrogen Chloride (AHCl) is a colorless gas which plays an important role in various technologies and in pharmaceutical/chemical industries. The majority of Anhydrous Hydrogen Chloride is used to produce hydrochloric acid, a solution of AHCl in water. Concentrations range from less than 1% up to 38%. The latter is referred to as “concentrated” or “fuming” hydrochloric acid.

Niacet’s acetates, mainly sodium acetate are used in the production of insulin. Additionally, as a constituent in insulin products, sodium acetate acts as an oxidative fuel preventing the body from producing antibodies during insulin injection. Sodium Acetate is available as an agglomerate and a powder (anhydrous) as well as a crystal (trihydrate). Sodium Acetate trihydrate is very soluble in water. Sodium Acetate anhydrous agglomerate offers the properties of non-dustiness, improved wettability, higher reactivity, higher bulk density, and improved free-flow ability.

Zinc Acetate is used as a catalyst in the production of polyesters, polyamides, polyether and vinyl acetate, in the in manufacture of acrylic emulsions, phenolic foam for thermal insulation, and alkyds. Niacet’s acetates, such as zinc acetate are used in the production of insulin. Zinc Acetate dihydrate is available as fine white crystals which are easily soluble in water.

Pharmaceutical grade Ammonium Acetate is used in the manufacture of insulin and penicillin as well as in chromatography. Technical grade Ammonium Acetate is used in the dyeing and printing of textiles, in surface treatment of metals and as a catalyst in rayon fiber productions. Ammonium Acetate is available as fine white crystals, or as a 50% or 57.5% solution in water.
