Niacet’s technical acetates are widely used in a number of different industries and for various applications. Their main effect is pH adjustment, crystallization aid, or as a catalyst or reagent. Sodium Acetate is used in the leather tanning and in the textile dyeing. It is also used in detergent tablets and as buffer in photographic industry. Furthermore it is used as a polymer stabilizer and as thermal energy storage (heat packs).

Magnesium Acetate is used in the dyes of ceramic tiles and also used in the textile dyeing. It is also used as a catalyst in polyester film production. Furthermore it is used in the production of cigarette paper and in the off-set printing.

Zinc Acetate dihydrate is available as fine white crystals which are easily soluble in water.

Technical grade Ammonium Acetate is used in the dyeing and printing of textiles, in surface treatment of metals and as a catalyst in rayon fiber productions. Ammonium Acetate is available as fine white crystals, or as a 50% or 57.5% solution in water.
