NordFeed Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate is an inorganic compound made of magnesium, sulfur and oxygen. Also known as Epsom salt, this powdered substance is widely used in Agriculture and Horticulture (technical grade) fields to improve the soil fertility levels. Moreover, it is use in the chemical and animal sector.

NordFeed Wheat gluten feed is a fiber-rich ingredient, containing nutritious protein and starch, used in ruminant, swine, poultry feed and petfood.

Corn Gluten Meal (CGM) is a by-product of corn wet milling process and corn starch production. Corn Gluten Meal is a protein-rich feed, containing about 65% crude protein (DM), used as a source of protein, energy and pigments for livestock species including fish. It is also valued in pet food for its high protein digestibility. The product is golden yellow in color; and fine granular in its physical appearance. Due to its high protein content, Corn Gluten Meal is mostly used as a source of protein as a potential alternative to other plant or animal-based proteins, such as Soybean Meal, Meat and Bone Meal and Fish Meal. Corn Gluten Meal is also a source of energy, due to its high gross energy (23.1 MJ/kg DM) coupled with high energy digestibility (> 90% in ruminants and pigs). Corn Gluten Meal is particularly rich in yellow xanthophyll (between 200 and 500 mg/kg DM) that are useful for pigmentation in poultry.

Brewers yeast is mainly a source of protein, vitamins and minerals. Brewers yeast is a by-product from the breweries, which use the micro-organism and fungal yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Brewers yeast is obtained by the removal of yeast after the brewing process and subsequent inactivation by means of organic acids. Brewers yeast is used as feedstuff for pigs, ruminants, poultry and fish. Also, Inactivated brewers yeast is a highly valuable source of protein, phosphorous and B vitamins.

Corn/Maize bran is a by-product of various corn/maize processing industries, including starch and ethanol production, and the production of maize-based foods. While corn/maize bran theoretically consists of the bran coating removed in the early stages of processing, the corn/maize bran sold for livestock feeding is usually a mixture of the bran fraction and other by-products and is, therefore, a very loosely defined product of highly variable composition. In the case of ethanol production, corn/maize bran is defined as the mixture of the bran fraction and distillers solubles. In the starch extraction process, corn/maize bran is usually mixed with steep liquor to produce corn gluten feed. In the production of maize grits by the dry milling process, corn/maize bran is mixed with broken kernels, germ residue after oil extraction, and inseparable fractions of germ, pericarp and endosperm to produce hominy feed.

NordFeed Sunflower seed meal is the by-product of the extraction of oil from sunflower seeds. Sunflower meal is one of the major protein meals used for livestock feeding and particularly for ruminant diets, and under certain conditions for pigs and poultry. Sunflower seed meal is a valuable and safe product, whose protein, fiber and oil contents are highly variable and driven by variations of the oil extraction process. One particularly interesting trait of sunflower meal is the absence of intrinsic anti-nutritional factors: unlike other oil meals, including those of soybean, rapeseed or cotton, it does not require heating or special attention before being fed. Its amino acid profile is richer in sulfur amino acids, and particularly methionine than other protein sources, but its lysine content is much lower than that of SBM.
