It has a melting point of 75°C to 80°C, is quick to emulsify, and has excellent oil-binding properties. Sunflower wax is primarily used in natural cosmetics where it provides stability and caters for a long-lasting shine. It protects the skin and builds a pleasant film. In the cosmetics industry, it is primarily used to maintain the desired consistency of lip care pens, creams, or body butter.
