"In February 2007, Nova Pressroom Products, LLC was formed as an independently owned and operated manufacturer of blanket and roller washes. Bringing together the most knowledgeable technical and business staff in the Graphic Arts Industry was the foundation for the new company. All of the key managers and research staff came from Anchor LithKemKo when this leading, longtime supplier of pressroom chemicals closed its manufacturing site in Florida. Nova’s goal was, and is, to manufacture safe, effective and environmentally-compliant products, delivering them on time and at a reasonable price.

Early in 2008, Nova opened a 23,500 square foot Manufacturing and Research Center in North Jacksonville, Florida. The 2,200 square foot Corporate Headquarters and Customer Call Center was opened in April 2009. The plant is the manufacturing site for Nova fountain solutions, water-based coatings and UV coatings and specialty products.

Nova is well positioned for the future. With over 160 different products for sheetfed and web printers, a dedicated dealer network in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Asia and a highly experienced technical staff, Team Nova is ready to partner with you.

The Nova business model utilizes the company’s core expertise in printing chemical technology and provides hands on problem-solving support for today’s printers. NovaCoat

NovaCoat AQ-632 was formulated to be a premium wax-free primer for use in sheetfed and flexographic applications in most applications. It can be used as a paper sealer and is suitable to be coated with most sheetfed inks. It IS recommended to be recoatable. TEST BEFORE USING!

NovaCoat AQ-684 is a aqueous coating with curl resistance for application on paper and paperboard with in-line blanket coaters, flexo presses, and flexo/gravure type coaters.

NovaCoat AQ-610R was formulated to be a high gloss, high rub folding carton coating for use in sheetfed and flexographic applications. It has excellent rub resistance with added slip properties. In most applications, it can be used as a 2-sided commercial coating. It is NOT recommended to be recoatable. TEST BEFORE USING!

NovaCoat AQ-620 was formulated to be a high gloss 1 or 2- sided coating for use in sheetfed and flexographic applications. It can be used with some glues, foil stamps and UV top coatings. TEST BEFORE USING.

NovaCoat AQ-610 P is a silver pearlescent aqueous coating designed for application on paper and paperboard. AQ-610P will provide the typical luster effect associated with silver pigments.

NovaCoat AQ-678 was formulated to be a fast dry all- purpose work and turn coating for use in sheetfed and flexographic applications. AQ-678 has excellent intercoat adhesion for UV and foil stamping.

NovaCoat AQ-676 was formulated to be a high gloss, 1-sided packaging coating for use in sheetfed and flexographic applications with fast dry and minimal odor. It has excellent rub and block resistance. It can be used with some flues, foil stamps and UV top coatings. TEST BEFORE USING!
