Novamet Specialty Products

Novamet Specialty Products is an engineered materials company, focused on developing and processing metal powders. Novamet was formed in 1976 in Sterling Forest, New York as a new product development group within International Nickel Company (INCO), a Canadian nickel mining company. Novamet relocated to Wyckoff, New Jersey in 1980. In 2010, Novamet was purchased by its current private owner/operators. In 2014, Novamet relocated its entire operation, including its production, quality assurance and administrative staff, from New Jersey to a 100,000 square foot facility in Lebanon, Tennessee, 20 miles east of Nashville. ​ Novamet Specialty Products produces more than 60 different products including specialty nickel oxides, coated materials, tightly sized nickel powders, and metallic flakes. Novamet specializes in products customized to meet their diverse customer needs. By utilizing heat treating, milling, chemical processing, blending, air classification, and screening, the plant produces precision-engineered products to the most exacting specifications. ​
