- Stable non-yellowing coating
- Retains both flexibility and strength
- Provides excellent protection against bacteria and mold
- Easy clean up with water
- NuPrime is a high-quality compound adhesive that bonds with difficult to penetrate powdery surfaces.
- Concrete and masonry surfaces undercoated with NuPrime require substantially less topcoat product compared to an unsealed surface.
- NuPrime remains one of the only products recommended for the preparation of powdery oxidized surfaces.
- Surfaces undercoated with NuPrime and top coated with either Tileflex, Nuflex or Colourfast perform exceptionally after curing under all weather conditions to provide a 100% waterproof coating.
- NuPrime has undergone rigorous testing and special consideration has been given to ensure the chemical composition and compatibility are suitable for all Australian, New Zealand, South-East Asian, and UK conditions.
- NuPrime is a stable non-yellowing coating which retains both flexibility and strength whilst also providing superb protection against bacteria and mold on most surfaces

Application Conditions
- Only apply between 10°C and 30°C ambient air temperatures.
- Ensure no surface moisture is present prior to application.
- Consideration must be given to other climatic conditions such as wind and relative humidity
- Failure to observe these provisions may affect coating adhesion
- Avoid mist-spraying Nu-Prime on hot tiles to prevent flash surface drying.
- Typical Applications
Typical projects include:
- Domestic & multi density residential
- Industrial and commercial roofs.
- Coverage
4m2/L (per coat)
- Recommended Substrates
Difficult to penetrate powdery weathered roof tile surfaces.
- Mixing/Thinning
- Prior to Commencement - Stir thoroughly prior to use.
- Dilution not recommended or required.
- Test Patch
Conduct a small test patch in an inconspicuous area to ensure adequate product performance, substrate porosity and provide an indication of the amount of product required to complete the project.
- Application Equipment
- Airless Spray - Spray tip size is 519 - 521
- Brush or Roller
- Preparation
- All surfaces must be cleaned prior to application.
- Treat moss and lichen prior to cleaning will minimize cleaning time.
- High pressure water clean using a minimum of 3000psi.
- Improperly prepared surfaces may result in coating failure.
- Application Procedure
- Nutech Paints recommends NuPrime is applied by a trained professional.
- Tile pointing must be adequately cured in cold weather before coating is applied to ensure adhesion.
Application
Flood apply 1 coat onto the tile surface to maximize surface penetration, observing the spread rate outlined in this TDS.
- Drying Time
Ambient conditions at 25°C and 50% relative humidity.
- Touch Dry
30 Minutes
- Recoat
1 hour at cooler temperatures or higher humidity drying times will be extended.
- Clean Up
- Protecting our environment is important to Nutech Paints. Clean up with cold water away from drains.
- Do not pour leftover paint down the drain.
- Unwanted paint should be kept in a sealed container and then disposed of via special waste collection services.
