- Designed Use
For use on rigid multiplaned substrates to bond Nylon or Polyester flock fibers to ABS, Polycarbonate, Polystyrene, Noryl, and some metals. 20F- Acrylic Line can also be used to bond flock fiber to some Polypropylene and TPO plastics when used over appropriate Nyatex Pretreatment. Suitable for projects requiring high water resistance.
- Application
- Surface Preparation - Substrate must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants; e.g., release agents, dirt, dust, etc.
- Application - Formulated for use in both conventional air spray guns and air assist airless guns. Experience has shown the HVLP type guns are the most preferable type guns to use.
- Expected Mileage - Approximately 150 - 300 sq.ft. per gal. @ 8 mils wet film thickness.
- Open Time - Varies with temperature, air circulation, wet film thickness (WET), and other factors, 1 - 2 minutes may be expected in typical application.
- Suggested Film Thickness - A dry film thickness equal to 10 % of the flock fiber length is recommended for optimum cost/performance results.
- Force Dry - Recommend 10 - 30 minutes at 150 - 175 °F.
- Clean Up - Remove before fully cured; soluble in water at this time. Use warm water and detergent (before cure).
