Nylatech Cast Nylon products can be found in almost every industry. Cast Nylon is common in many demanding applications requiring any combination of high load bearing capacity, low coefficient of friction, and good environmental and chemical resistance. All of our standard and proprietary grades are used by original equipment manufacturers, rebuild and repair facilities, and countless machine shops, as a cost effective alternative to metal components.



Our mission incorporating leading manufacturing technology, Nylatech, an internationally respected manufacturer of Cast Nylon 6 and 6/12, will grow its stock shape and custom component business by meeting the expectations of its customers, all the while acknowledging that its employees are the cornerstone of its success. Nylatech, Inc. is a Cast Nylon manufacturer located north of Seattle. We have been producing Nylon 6 and 6/12 stock shapes and custom components since our inception in 1995. We produce a full range of sheet, rod and tube in all the standard grades, and a number of specialty grades as well. We offer “custom cast sizes” in all of our semi-finished stock shapes to maximize yields and reduce cost for machined components. This holds true for our tubular bar as well, as we are the only North American manufacturer to produce tubular bar in 52″ lengths.

Nylatech

Nylatech® MD is a molybdenum disulphide filled grade offers increased wear-resistance allowing for longer part life, decreased mating component wear, and less down time. NYLATECH® MD is perfectly suited for sheaves used in the mobile crane industry, bushings, wear pads for telescoping booms, gears, and rollers found in numerous material handling systems.

Nylatech® MD

Nylatech® Blue is formulated for higher continuous operating temperatures, NYLATECH® BLUE is ideal for hotter environments. This heat-stabilized grade is commonly used as bushings, rollers, wear pads, and wear strips in ovens, kilns and industrial dryers.

Nylatech® Blue

Nylatech® Natural offers the excellent abrasion resistance, and dimensionally stable qualities inherent of all cast nylon grades. In addition, NYLATECH® NATURAL conforms to US F.D.A 21CFR177.1500 making it ideal for components in the food processing industry.

Nylatech® Glass Filled is often used in prototype and development work where injection molded parts would be cost prohibitive. Nylatech’s unique manufacturing process offers a large variety of glass filled nylon grades up to 30%.

Nylatech® Glass Filled

NYLATECH® SL contains a proprietary solid lubricant, which offers a low coefficient of friction with superior wear resistance. It is used for dynamic applications where external lubrication is difficult or impossible. Providing in excess of 5 times longer part life than other lubricated materials, it offers significant savings in machine maintenance and down time costs. As well, it provides added assurance of part life in friction applications where other cast nylons may fail.
