- How to Use
Vegetables, Fruits, Herbs and Flowers: Apply in spring after tilling or turning soil and prior to planting. Use approximately 1-2 lbs per 100 sq ft. Work lightly into top 2-3 inches of soil. Reapply in late spring and early summer by broadcasting or sprinkling around plants as needed. Apply each time you plant a new crop. Improve plant hardiness and stress management by applying Guarantee® or Guarantee Organic seaweed extract throughout the growing season. One pound of product is roughly 3 cups.
Established Gardens: Side dress along rows, or scatter evenly over soil surface, then rake lightly into soil. Use 1 lb per 100 sq. ft. Apply in spring and early summer.
Fruit and Other Trees: Apply 1 cup per inch trunk diameter in spring under branch tips where the feeding roots lie, and work lightly into soil. A second application in early summer will be helpful for poor soils or where trees are under stress.
