Melafine® is halogen-free and has a tightly controlled, narrow particle size distribution to ensure a reliable and predictable intumescent process. This makes Melafine the ideal blowing agent for leading coatings producers. Its fine particle size is also fit for use in thin film coatings for architecturally exposed surfaces.

MelaminebyOCI™ GPH, in the form of a white crystalline powder, is a melamine. This product has a particle size that is below 350 microns and has been produced by the gas-phase process. It can be used in coatings, adhesive resins, laminates, and flame retardants.
