Applications & Uses

- Insecticide Target Species
- Application
- Apply at first sign of pest activity on traps or plants to prevent outbreaks
- ANCORA is most effective when the relative humidity is 80% or higher. The application itself, especially at high water volumes, will temporarily raise the relative humidity to support high effectiveness.
- Spray with enough water to penetrate foliage and obtain good coverage.
- Before final dilution, mix the recommended quantity of ANCORA with water in a separate beaker/ container (up to 1/3 of the total water volume) to dissolve the granules
- Agitate for 2-3 minutes and then allow the premix to stand for 20 to 30 minutes. This allows the blastospores to be released from the carrier substrate and into the water solution.
- When decanting into the spray tank, use a funnel with a 100 mesh screen to filter and prevent any clogging of spray nozzles.
- ANCORA’s new formulation does not require decanting for most common uses including power, backpack or hand-held hydraulic sprayers and low-med volume foggers. Decanting is still recommended for use in auto foggers and other ultra low volume fogging equipment
- Make a minimum of two applications, 3 to 5 days apart.
- Store ANCORA in its original unopened package. ANCORA is very stable in the unopened package for one year at 40° to 50° F.
- With an opened package, squeeze out the excess air and keep refrigerated (40° to 50° F). Use any remaining product within 30 days of opening.
- For best results use a spreader sticker or horticultural oil such as Triact® 70 (1 qt./100 gal. of spray solution) at the labeled rates.
- Mode Of Action
Upon contact, the fungal spores in ANCORA germinate and pierce through the insect cuticle causing infection and death in 3 to 5 days.
- Use Sites
ANCORA may be used in greenhouse and other covered structures (including lathe and shade houses), and nurseries. Plants may be potted, grown in the soil or in soilless mixtures, or grown hydroponically
- Crops
ANCORA MAY BE USED ON THE FOLLOWING CROPS
- Bedding plants
- Cut flowers
- Flowering plants
- Foliage
- Herbs and spices
- Nursery stock
- Melons
- Shrubs

- Application Rates
Foliar: Spray ANCORA on a preventative schedule or at the first sign of pest presence. Foliar spray rates range from 14 to 28 oz. of product per 100 gal. of water, depending on the target pest and spray frequency.
Drench: For drench applications, use ANCORA at the rate of 14 to 28 oz. of product per 100 gal. of water. Apply ANCORA in sufficient water and for sufficient duration to distribute evenly to entire treated area.
Apply to moderately moist soils using volumes that thoroughly wet the soil but do not cause significant runoff or drip from pots
TARGET PESTS CONTROLLED Foliar Application

TARGET PESTS CONTROLLED Drench Application
Black vine weevils Thrips pupae Coleoptera grubs Rootworms Lepidoptera Wireworms - Tank Mixing
ANCORA users should adhere to any applicable restrictions on the tank mix partner-product. If compatibility is unknown, mix a small amount of the products at the appropriate proportion in a clear jar prior to mixing a large tank.
- Application Program
FOLIAR APPLICATION PROGRAM
Repeat at 3 to 5 day intervals (using the low rate) if necessary to control insect populations. ANCORA is compatible with most pesticides. It can be mixed with copper-based fungicides without impacting performance. However, do not mix with other fungicides, or apply within 5 days of fungicide applications other than copper.
