- Direction for Use
Applicaton conditions:
Air temperature during use +5°C and +30°C, best results at +20°C. Recommended can temperature during application +5°C to +25 C, best results at +20"C. At low temperatures foam can must be wamed before work in warm room or water. Temperature of room or water must not exceed +30°C.
Application Instructions:
Substrates must be clean from ice, dust, oil, loose particles and grease. Substrates should be moistened as the foam expands due to the moisture. A moistened surface ensures better results (if no moisture is available, foam will collapse into itself as it cures).
Protect eyes and wear gloves and working clothes. Protect adjacent surfaces with paper, plastic flm or other suitable material. Shake the can vigorously at least 20 times. Hold the foam can in upright position, tum the gun to the can by holding the gun handle with one hand, and turn the can with the other hand. Make sure that the gun is not pointed at other persons when tuming it. The can must not be screwed to the gun with the valve upside down or by tuming the gun on the can. Tum the can upside don
and start applying. The foam output can be adjusted by the gun trigger.
Half fill the cavity and spray lightly the foam with water. The foam will expand tofill the rest. When applying foam in layers, moisten slightly between each layer.
When fixing window frames, hold the frame in place for approximately 24 hours until the foam is fully cured.
Cured foam can be painted with water-based paints.
Cleaning
Uncured foam can be cleaned from tools and surfaces with OLIVE R-47. Cured foam can be removed mechanically.Remarks:
Unsuitable for fire protection.
There is no adhesion to PE, PP, PTFE (Teflon®) and silicones. Due to the wide variety of possible substrates, we recommend a preliminary compatibility test.
Cured foam is sensitive to UV-light and direct sunlight (t will discolor) and therefore must be covered with suitable opaque sealant, filler, paint or other material.
Lighter construction elements must be firmly fixed before application of the foam due to formula's high post expansion.
Safety:
Pressurized container. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C. Do not pierce or burn, even
after use. The product contains flammable propellants. Protect from overheating and keep away from ignitions sources. Do not smoke during work.
May cause sensitisation by inhalation and skin contact. Ensure sufficient ventilation during application. Use protective gear when necessary. Keep out of the reach of children.
Cured foam can be handled without any danger to health.
The information regarding the safety of the product is available on safety data sheet (SDS). Before using the product, we recommend to read carefully the SDS and the safety labels.
