The oil cake produced during the extraction process of linseed oil is gently ground into a fine flour. We mainly use golden linseeds for the production of our linseed flour but also offer brown linseed flour upon request. Linseed flour should be a component of any healthy diet, as it provides the body with important nutrients such as calcium, iron and vitamin E. It stimulates digestion and ensures a good intestinal flora and physical wellbeing.

OPW Ingredients Rose Hip Seed Oil is used as an active ingredient in many cosmetic products. Thanks to its antioxidant properties and beta-carotene content, it is highly recommended as a facial care product. Rose hip seed oil protects the skin from impurities and harmful environmental influences. It has an anti-inflammatory effect. The oil also contains the vitamins E and C, which prevent premature skin aging and leaves the skin feeling fresh and youthful. Because it regulates the natural moisture balance of the skin, rose hip seed oil is frequently used as an ingredient in ointments and creams.

Almond protein or almond flour is the refined by-product of the almond oil production process. To make it, Sicilian almonds are gently pressed, and the oil cake is ground into a fine flour. The low bitter almond content allows of the almonds to develop its full nutty aroma, and your baked goods do not end up tasting of marzipan. Almond protein contains minerals such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, and the trace element iron.

Rice protein comes from China and is traditionally made from rice bran. The protein is isolated in naturalgermination and fermentation processes, which yield a high-quality vegetable protein with a protein content ofmore than 80%. Besides its high protein content, our rice protein is also low-carb. At a carbohydrate content ofonly 0.1%, it is a perfect ingredient for sports nutrition and diet products.

Linseed oil is extracted from the ripe seeds of common flax, a plant that grows in the Mediterranean region and other hot areas. There are two different types of linseeds: brown and golden. Depending on their type and ripeness, the seeds contain between 30 and 45% oil.
