Actellic 50 EC is a fast acting broad-spectrum organophosphate insecticide of low mammalian toxicity. It kills insects by contact, ingestion and fumigant action. Actellic 50 EC controls a range of pests in grain, grain stores, livestock houses and yards. Insect pests controlled include: Flies, Wasps, Beetles, Weevils and Moths. Actellic 50 EC provides rapid knockdown of insect pests and will persist on walls, floors and other inert surfaces to give residual control.

These may include excessive sweating, headache, weakness, faintness, giddiness, nausea, stomach pains, vomiting, small pupils, blurred vision and muscle twitching.
- Spillage
Extinguish any ignition sources. Exclude non-essential people from the area. Wear protective clothing and prevent material from entering waterways. Absorb spill with inert material such as soil, sand, etc, and place in a waste container. Wash area with water and detergent, and absorb with further inert material. Dispose of safely to a suitable landfill.
- Directions For Use
It is an offense for users of this product to cause residues exceeding the relevant MRL in the Food Notice: Maximum Residue Levels for Agricultural Compounds. It is an offense to use this product on animals. Grain / Storage Pests

Actellic 50 EC may be applied through conventional spraying equipment including knapsack and motorized sprayers. Do NOT use with thermal foggers. When applying as a spray, sufficient water should be used to wet all surfaces yet avoid run-off. All surfaces should be sprayed including floors, walls and ceilings, with particular attention to areas where insects breed and hide, such as cracks and crevices and warm areas around equipment. Note: In practice the actual amount of spray which can be applied to a surface without run-off varies. Normally 5 liters per 100 square meters will be sufficient, but on porous surfaces such as concrete, bricks and unpainted wood, up to 15 liters per 100 square meters may be required. In the interests of efficiency and economy it is necessary to consider the type of surface to be sprayed. Regular treatment may be necessary where washing or rain removes insecticide residues and on alkaline surfaces such as plaster or unpainted concrete.
- Resistance Management
GROUPS 1 INSECTICIDE
Actellic 50EC contains the organophosphorus compound pirimiphos-methyl. Resistance to this product could develop from excessive use. To minimize this risk, use strictly in accordance with label instructions. - Preparation
All surfaces to be treated should be free of dust, dirt or food residues as these impair insecticide adhesion and encourage reinfestation. All exposed food and open food containers should be removed before treatment, or covered to avoid unnecessary contamination. Food contact surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned after application.

APPROVED HANDLER: This product must be under the control of an approved handler during use. STORAGE: Keep out of reach of children. Do not store near heat, flame or other source of ignition. Store in the original, tightly closed container, in a secure and well ventilated area away from feed or foodstuffs. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. Storage of certain quantities of this product trigger specific storage requirements (Refer to Safety Note). When stored appropriately this product should show no significant degradation for two years from the date of manufacture. Contact your supplier for further information about the use of product that is older than this. PERSONAL PROTECTION: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid inhalation of vapor or spray mist. When mixing or applying, wear overalls, chemical resistant boots and gloves, waterproof head covering, eye protection and respirator (organic vapor and particulate matter). Clean protective clothing daily after work. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using. Remove protective clothing and wash hands and face thoroughly before meals and after work. USE: Avoid handling, mixing or use of the product or container near heat, flame or other source of ignition. Always use diluted in water. Do not use near air vents or ducts. Apply with well maintained and calibrated spray equipment. Do NOT use with thermal foggers. See further instructions under ‘Directions for Use’ and ‘Preparation’ below. DISPOSAL: Dispose of this product only by using in accordance with this label, or at a suitable landfill. Do not burn. Triple rinse container and add rinsate to the spray tank. Dispose of container to a suitable landfill or agricultural recycling scheme. Do not burn. Do not use container for any other purpose. ENVIRONMENTAL: Use this product carefully. Do not contaminate aquatic environments with product, spray drift or empty container. Very toxic to bees – Spray must not be applied in an area where bees are foraging.
