Align reduces the risk of lodging in vigorous crops, susceptible cultivars, high nitrogen use situations and in field situations where there is a history of lodging. Early treatment provides greater protection from stem lodging, whereas later applications reduce yield losses caused by stem and neck breaking. Ingredients: Align contains 305 g/liter mepiquat chloride and 155 g/liter chlorethephon as the active ingredients, and up to 14g/L of acetic acid.
CAUTION: To work effectively, crops to be treated should be actively growing and free of stress caused by nutrient or moisture deficiency. Do NOT apply when temperatures are above 21o C, or to crops suffering damage or physical stress from frost, hail or herbicide damage. Secondary tillering may be a problem in treated crops, especially in situations where the application has been made early followed by a period of stress. This may have implications, especially in crops grown for malting barley, or in other situations where a bold sample of grain is required.

Exclude non-essential people from the area. Wear protective clothing and prevent material from entering waterways. Absorb spill with inert material such as soil, sand, etc, and place in a waste container. Wash area with water and detergent, and absorb with further inert material. Dispose of safely to a suitable landfill.
- Application Methods
Obtain uniform spray coverage using conventional ground boom sprayer and aerial equipment. Flush equipment thoroughly with clean water after use.
- Directions For Use
It is an offense for users of this product to cause residues exceeding the relevant MRL in the Food Notice: Maximum Residue Levels for Agricultural Compounds. It is an offense to use this product on animals.
Crop Rate Per Hectare Critical comments Autumn Sown Barley, Ryecorn and Triticale 1.0 - 1.5 liters in 200 liters of water. Always add 25ml/100 liters water of Synergy™ Wetter Sticker. Apply from Zadoks GS 37 (flag leaf visible) through until GS 49 (first awns visible). Use the higher rate where the risk of lodging or straw and neck breaking is high Spring Sown Barley 1.0 - 1.5 liters in 200 liters water. Always add 25ml/100 liters water of Synergy Wetter Sticker. Apply to stress free crops from Zadoks GS 39 (flag leaf ligule visible) through until GS 49 (first awns visible). Use the higher rate where the risk of lodging or straw and neck break is high. Use the low rate in malting barley, only in situations when the crop is free from stress. - Mixing
When used in a mixture always add Align to the spray tank last. Use spray solution immediately. Where water has a high pH, or water containing calcium salts cannot be avoided, the addition of a pH Buffer is recommended to reduce chemical deactivation and hydrolysis.

May be tank mixed with most commonly used insecticides and fungicides. Do not mix with herbicides.

STORAGE: Keep out of reach of children. Store in the original, tightly closed container, in a secure place away from foodstuffs. Storage of certain quantities of this product trigger specific storage requirements (Refer to Safety Note). When stored appropriately this product should show no significant degradation for two years from the date of manufacture. Contact your supplier for further information about the use of product that is older than this. PERSONAL PROTECTION: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid inhalation of spray mist. When mixing or applying, wear overalls, boots, gloves, and eye protection. Clean protective clothing daily after work. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using. Remove protective clothing and wash hands and face thoroughly before meals and after work. USE: Apply with well maintained and calibrated spray equipment. DISPOSAL: Dispose of this product only by using in accordance with this label, or at a suitable landfill. Triple rinse container and add rinsate to the spray tank. Dispose of container to a suitable landfill or agricultural recycling scheme. Do not burn. Do not use container for any other purpose. ENVIRONMENTAL: Use this product carefully. Do not contaminate aquatic environments with product, spray drift or empty container. Do not allow spray drift outside the target area to occur.
