High Volume Gun: Ensure full coverage of foliage. Use a no. 4 tip, and pressures 500 – 2000 kPa. Knapsack: Ensure full coverage. Thoroughly clean spray equipment after use. Decontaminate equipment before using again on sensitive crops, eg, cereals, maize, grasses.

Mixing

Mix the required quantity in the spray tank partly filled with water, and maintain agitation through filling and spraying. If adding Synoil™, add after Hurricane. If adding other herbicides, add before Hurricane.

Rainfall

Hurricane is rainfast 1 hour after application.

Resistance Management

GROUP A HERBICIDE

Hurricane contains the active ingredient haloxyfop-P-methyl, which belongs to the Aryloxyphenoxypropionates (FOP) chemical family. Some naturally occuring weeds may become resistant when excessive use of the same herbicide occurs. To prevent or delay the development of resistance, use in tank mixes and/or rotate use with herbicides with a diferent mode of action. Consult http://resistance.nzpps.org/index.php for alternative modes of action and details of resistance management stratergies (if any) for the uses listed on the label.
