Broadcast: 15 – 17.5 L of Release KT in 150 - 300 liters water per hectare. Spot Application: Calibrate equipment carefully to deliver 1.5 – 2 mL of Release KT per square meter in sufficient water to gain good coverage. Treat 2 square meters (i.e. 1.6m diameter spot) around each tree. Spotgun: Mix 110 mL of Release KT in 1 liter of water and apply 15 – 20 mL of the mixture per square meter. Knapsack: Mix 55 mL of Release KT in 1 liter of water and apply 30 – 40 mL of the mixture per square meter. Use the higher rates on seedling gorse, or tall, rank weed growth, or where a longer residual is required. The addition of a wetting agent is not required. Apply prior to spring growth in September - October. If necessary, a repeat application can be made 12 months later. Note: For control of difficult to kill grasses like paspalum, kikuyu, couch or mercer grass, add Hurricane®.
- Application Methods
Release KT is non-corrosive and almost non-abrasive and can be applied with conventional ground, spot and aerial methods. Do not use strainers finer than 300 micrometers. Wash equipment thoroughly after use.
- Mixing
As settling may occur during storage, stir or shake well before use. Add the required quantity to the spray tank partly filled with water, and maintain agitation through filling and spraying. Only mix sufficient spray solution for immediate use.
