Features & Benefits

General Information

Triumph Brushkiller is a broadleaf herbicide for control of a range of woody and semi-woody brushweeds. Note: Triumph Brushkiller is damaging to legumes, including clovers. Residues in the soil may prevent early re-establishment following treatment.

Applications & Uses

Herbicide Target Species
Spillage

Extinguish any ignition sources. Exclude non-essential people from the area. Wear protective clothing and prevent material from entering waterways. Absorb spill with inert material such as soil, sand, etc, and place in a waste container. Wash area with water and detergent, and absorb with further inert material. Dispose of safely to a suitable landfill.

Application Methods

Gun: Refer to table. Ensure full coverage of leaves and stems. Use a no. 6 – 8 tip, and pressures 1000 – 2000 kPa. Aerial: Refer to table. Use in 200 – 400 liters of water per hectare using the half overlap – opposite pass technique. Follow up ground treatment may be required. Knapsack: Use 6 mL of Triumph Brushkiller per liter of water. Ensure full coverage of leaves and stems. Mistblower: Use 100 mL of Triumph Brushkiller per 10 liters. For ULV applications, use 500 mL per 10 liters. Ensure full coverage of leaves and stems. Stump Swabbing: Mix 1 part Triumph Brushkiller to 20 parts water or diesel. Liberally coat the freshly cut surfaces and stems to ground level.

Mixing

Mix the required quantity in the spray tank partly filled with water, and maintain agitation through filling and spraying.

Drift

The addition of a suitable drift control agent such as Kiwi Cover™is recommended to reduce spray drift onto non-target species.

Withholding Periods

It is an offense for users of this product to cause residues exceeding the relevant MRL in the Food Notice: Maximum Residue Levels for Agricultural Compounds. Poisonous plants may become more palatable after spraying, and livestock should be kept out until plants have died down.

Resistance Management

GROUP O3 HERBICIDE

Triumph Brushkiller contains the active ingredients picloram and triclopyr, both of which belong to the pyridine carboxylic acid chemical family. Some naturally occurring weeds may become resistant when excessive use of the same herbicide occurs. To prevent or delay the development of resistance, use in tank mixes and/or rotate use with herbicides with a different mode of action. Consult http:// resistance.nzpps.org/index.php for alternative modes of action and details of resistance management strategies (if any) for the uses listed on the label.

Directions For Use
Weed Rate – Gun mL/100 L water Rate – Aerial Liter/Ha Critical Comments
