OROMATE K26 reduces losses of nutrients because of leaching, due to its high cation exchange capacity (CEC), especially in the early season and on sandy soils. OROMATE K26 provides charged surfaces for nutrient retention. Water-soluble nutrients are better held in the soil and they remain available to the plants for a longer period. This makes the applied nutrients more plant available and therefore increases their efficiency and results in increased yields and better quality. Moreover, it holds more water in the soil important during water stress conditions.

Development of Good Soil Structure

OROMATE K26 rejuvenates heavy clays which are compact OROMATE K26 and impenetrable to water and nutrients. When soils dry out, water is removed from between the clay particles, causing them to move very close together, shrink in volume and form cracks in the ground. This cracking in the ground is a common feature in clay soils which are poor or devoid of organic matter. Humic acids in nature interact with the clay particles and prevent them from sticking closely together when they dry out in the summer. The more open clay structure will be able to retain more water for plant use. OROMATE K26 promotes development of good soil structure, improves the moisture holding capacity of the soil andd increases the wettability of the soll. Moreover, it reduces soil binding in clay soils and improves the aeration and porosity of the soil. Asa result, soil becomes more friable and crumbly for easier working and plant root penetration.

OROMATE K26 provides plants with organic material, enhances seed germination, stimulates root growth and improves viability. It stimulates beneficial microbial activity in the soil and provides better resistance to stress and abiotic conditions for plants.

Applications & Uses

Application

Apply 5 - 20 liters of OROMATE K26™ per hectare. For better results apply OROMATE K26™ before or right after the application of fertilizers in order to minimize possible losses from leaching and for better efficacy of applied fertilizers. For best results, use in conjunction with organic or mineral fertilizers.

  • It can be mixed with other liquid fertilizers. When mixing with other liquid fertilizers or herbicides, test for compatibility with a small quantity in a jar.
  • It can be mixed with UAN, after diluting OROMATE K26™ into water first, to reduce scorching.
  • If you apply OROMATE K26™ by foliar application black spots may appear. Leaves and fruit need washing with water after foliar application of OROMATE K26™.
  • Mixing OROMATE K26™ with acids or low pH products or clear soluble fertilizers may cause precipitation of humic acid.
