    Applications

Fortprint 1685 is a non-film-forming modified acrylic copolymer at room temperature. Indicated for composition of graphic inks, Fortprint 1685, together with Fortprint 1680, have good compatibility with alcohols and excellent stability. Fortprint 1685 has Newtonian liquid rheological characteristics, which provides excellent flow and leveling of paints by roller or spray. Inks formulated with these products are normally applied by flexography, rotogravure and/or offset. Typically Fortprint 1685 allows compounding with Fortprint 1680 to regulate film hardness and increase scratch resistance
