Product Highlights

EcoTea™ is a biological soil amendment that helps to build and replenish the beneficial microbial community in soil and plant root systems. The organisms found in EcoTea™ will cause an immediate improvement in root biomass and function, creating a stronger more vigorous plant. This product is 100% sustainable and contains no human pathogens. EcoTea™ is an ecologically engineered microbial product with an added blend of humic, fulvic, long-chain amino acids-Atlantic kelp extract, simple/complex carbohydrates and enzymes.
EcoTea™ Contains a great deal of plant growth promoting and ecologically functional microbes. This biological community will improve soil structure, root function/biomass and mobility of N-P-K + micronutrients in the soil.
The plant beneficial biology within EcoTea™ Will help to decrease stress from pathogenic bacteria, fungi and some insects-while increasing the effectiveness of fertilizers. This helps plants focus less on producing energy expensive shock proteins and more on bioma: production.
EcoTea™ is designed for easy integration into existing management programs. Our customers have been able to reduce pesticide and fertilizer applications when using EcoTea™ properly. EcoTea TM is one part of a regular fertility and integrated pest management program. A GREAT TOOL IN THE BOX!

Applications & Uses

Applications

EcoTea™ HDI Residue Management

Application:

EcoTea HDI is a 3 part mix & apply product for soil/medium applications. It contains (Part A) High Density Inoculum, (Part B) Liquid Microbial Foods and (Part C) Balanced Catalyst. EcoTea has been engineered for easy application in agricultural settings.

EcoTea™ HDI Residue Management Mixing

Instructions: (REFER TO DIAGRAM ON THE RIGHT)

1. Mix Part B, EcoTeaM Liquid Microbial Foods into Part A, EcoTeaTM HDI. Use a paint mixer or recirculation pump for best mixing.
2. Add Part C, EcoTea "M Balanced Catalyst IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO APPLICATION. Mix thoroughly.
3. Dilute 1:3 parts EcoTea T HDI to dechlorinated water.
4. Apply to residue/soil at a rate of 10-20 gallons of EcoTea per acre (diluted rate). Example: Mix 2.5 gallons of concentrated EcoTeaTM (Part A, B and C) with 7.5 gallons of dechlorinated water. Apply 10 gallons per acre of total solution. Please note: You can keep your EcoTeaTM aerating 24-48 hours until ready to apply. Only add Part C, Catalyst when you are ready to apply. We also advise to take out all inline screens and filters before spraying.
5. EcoTea HDI must come in contact below the soil surface, and have residue-soil contact Options for ensuring residue-soil contact
5.1. After spraying residue, incorporate residue as soon as possible, a light harrow is
recommended to ensure residue-soil contact.
5.2. EcoTeaTM can be sprayed onto residue/soil, after soil has been slightly exposed with a light tillage/heavy harrow pass. Please note: Do not spray in full sun, ideally spray in the evening or an overcast day is okay. For most effective results, adding slightly higher dilution with water, or applying just before a rain event will allow the biology to disperse throughout the soil surface more effectively.

Application Rates:

Apply at a rate 2.5 gallons per acre (concentrate). 1000 L (250 Gallons) of EcoTeaTM HDI will cover 100 acres.

HDI Mixing Insructions

1. Fill tank with 150 Gallons of dechlorinated water. Place 50 Gallons (200 L) of Part A, EcoTea TM HDI into mixing tank OR a 50 Gallon or larger vessel with aeration.
2. Add Part B to Part A and mix vigorously. Add Part B EcoTea™  Liquid Microbial Foods at a rate of 8 L for every 50 Gallons of Part A, EcoTeaT HDI.
2.1. Allow 24 hours for Part A, EcoTeaTM HDI & Part B, EcoTeaTM Liquid Microbial Foods to aerate. Maintaining approximately 6 mg/O2/L (80-120 L/min) throughout the
process. Note: Remove all screens in sprayer and use 08 TeeJet or FloodJet nozzles or larger.
3. Add Part C to the mixed Parts A & B. Mix vigorously. Add EcoTea TM Foliar Catalyst at a rate of 2 L for every 50 Gallons of aerated Part A, EcoTea TM HDI.
4. Dilute EcoTeaM HDI3 part mix at a minimum of 1:3 with dechlorinated water.
5. Apply EcoTea HDI 3 part mix to greens at a rate of 50 Gallons per 140,000-170,000 sq. ft. (concentrated 3 part mix).
6. End tank solution should be applied at an approximate rate of 56 Gallons/Acre (14 Gallons concentrated mix + 42 Gallons dechlorinated water). Note: You can dilute much more if desired, ensuring the concentrated rate of 50 Gallons per 140,000-170,000 sq. ft. remains the same.

Application Rates:

50 Gallons of EcoTea TM HDI will cover 140,00b0 170,000 sq.ft. of turf (dilute into 200 Gallons for application as per instructions).
Note: Apply EcoTeaTM HDI in conjunction with solid tine or fine tine aeration if possible.
EcoTea™  HDI is screened to 300 micron/50 mesh, 50 psi (or lower). To dechlorinate water fill tank 24 hours prior to adding EcoTea™ or aerate municipal water for 30 minutes. Don't hesitate to contact your local EcoTeaTM Sales Manager if you have any further questions.
