Metox 50W is peroxide copolymerization initiator for unsaturated polyester resins. They are mainly used with cobalt accelerators to curing at ambient temperature. They are suitable for manual and spray lamination. They can be used, for example, for the production of polymer concrete. Compared to the hardener Metox-50 show a slightly extended gelation time. Due to the reduced water content Metox-50W is recommended for curing gel coats, some polyester varnishes and others.
