  • Wood and joinery coatings
  • Metal coatings
  • Flexographic inks
  • Overprint varnishes
  • Powder coatings
Usage

The use of Deuteron® Wax PP/2 especially improves performance in:

  • Matting with smooth and elegant feel
  • Burnishing / Polishing resistance
  • Reduced settling of silica and fillers
  • Anti-BlockingPowder coatings
  • Degasing
Processing Information
  • Deuteron® Wax PP/2 is easy to disperse and can be incorporated using a common high-speed stirrer. In low viscous systems it might be necessary to use a high shear dispersing unit to properly disperse the material.
  • A pre-mix in water should contain a suitable cosolvent and about 2 % of an emulsifier.
  • Suitable emulsifiers are ethoxylated grades (e.g. based on polysorbat or fat alco- hols) with an HLB value of 15.
