FILCO® 8270 is a milky liquid epoxy resin presented in a non-ionic water emulsion. Characterized by its pure epoxy resin content and narrow particle size distribution, this product boasts high mechanical shear stability in diluted emulsion states. Primarily used as a film for glass fiber sizes, it finds applications in filament winding roving, panel roving, and woven roving. It can be employed individually or in combination with other emulsions.

Storage & Handling

Shelf Life
6 months
Storage and Shelf Life Conditions

FILCO® 8270 should be stored at temperatures between 5° C and 30°C. Maximum suggested storage time is 6 months from production. After that date the product must be rechecked. During storge a slight settlement can take place, wich can easily be eliminated by careful stirring.
