FILCO® JM 366 is an unsaturated polyester resin formulated in a non-ionic water emulsion. It's characterized by its highly unsaturated nature, which integrates a non-ionic emulsifier within the polymer matrix. This resin offers stability against hydrolysis and sedimentation, features a narrow distribution of particle sizes, and maintains high mechanical shear stability even in diluted emulsion forms.

FILCO® JM 366 is suggested as film former for glass fiber sizes for:

  • SMC roving
  • BMC chopped strand

Application procedures:
FILCO® JM 366 can be used alone, or can be crosslinked with peroxide, preferably in emulsion form, 0.5 - 1% by weight.

FILCO® JM 366 is supplied in steel drums with a polyethylene liner, net weight 200 kg.

Storage & Handling

Shelf Life

Storage and Shelf Life Conditions

FILCO® JM 366 should be stored in closed drums away from direct sun rays, at a temperature between + 5°C and + 30°C. Maximum suggested storage time is 6 months from production, in the original package. After that date product must be rechecked.
