Microemulsions as opposed to macroemulsions give emulsions of very small particle size and very good stability. Typically when a microemulsion is achieved the end product is a clear solution which sometimes has a slight bloom. One main advantage of microemulsions is that they are easily dilutable to the required concentration.
This product has been developed to give good micro-emulsions for synthetic pyrethroids such as cypermethrin. A typical production method would to be :
- Cpermetherin : 10
- ME100 : 25
- Water : 65
Simply add all components and add water slowly while mixing. The same levels can be used for Permetherin, Fenvalerate and zeta-
cypermetherin.The advantges are :
- Easily dilutable to required strength
- No VOC
- High flash point
