- Product Highlights
- TRAPYLEN® 186 EAC has a higher chlorine content compared to other. TRAYPLEN® grades which results in a good compatibility with other resins and polymers and excellent pigment wetting. The cured film has a high gloss and very good chemical and aging resistance.
- The main merit of TRAPYLEN® 186 EAC is the outstanding adhesion on untreated polypropylene, PP/EPDM thermoplastic rubber and - with limitations - on polyethylene.
- The resistance against fatty oil and grease is limited and must be compensated by using it with low chlorinated TRAPYLEN® grades.
- It is only recommended as a binder resin for screen printing inks and as an adhesion promoter.
- In plastic paints and solvent based contact adhesives on NR/SBR/polychloroprene basis.
