- TRAPYLEN®9200 W is an adhesion promoter based on acrylic modified, chlorine-free polypropylene dissolved in water.
- It has outstanding affinity to polyolefinic substrates.
- It is especially developed to improve surface tension of treated and untreated films, foils, foams and even molded parts of PP, PE, polyolefinic blends, a.o.
- The increase of wetting properties permits the bonding, printing, flocking and painting of such substrates.
- TRAPYLEN® 9200 W can be occassionally used as adhesion promoter incorporated in adhesives, inks and paints in case of sufficient compatibility.

If TRAPYLEN®9200 W is used as a straight primer dilute it down to 10 % solids, eventually add e.g. coalescence agents, wetting agents and rheological additives to the dilution.
This primer can be applied by spraying, dipping, brushing or printing.- Drying conditions: 60 s at 100°C (80 °C).
- Residual quantity: 0.5 - 1.5 g/m² (on films); 3 - 4 g/m² (on plastics).
When using TRAPYLEN® 9200 W as adhesion promoter in base coats/pigmented primers, the compatibility of the system must be checked. Recommended dosage of TRAPYLEN® 9200 W: about 10% of 100 % formula. The resulting base coat can be applied by spraying, dipping, brushing or printing if the system allows it.
