ZAR-MIN® is a processed Sodium Aluminosilicate belonging to a class of naturally occurring minerals called zeolites. There are over 600 natural zeolite occurrences in the world. There are 40 different structural types of natural and man-made zeolites that differ in the way the alumina and silica are stacked. The zeolite used in ZAR-MIN is classified as a clinoptilolite (clino) and has a complex and open honeycomb structure that does not swell within the digestive tract. The ZAR-MIN natural zeolite was selected due to it’s excellent absorption characteristics, high ion exchange capacity and high surface area. These properties make ZAR-MIN desirable for use as an anti-caking agent.

MIN-AD® is a palatable, natural mineral compound that is mined from a high purity deposit. It is composed of a double carbonate of calcium and magnesium and a number of beneficial trace minerals. MIN-AD is employed in dairy and beef cattle feeds as a mineral source and to support performance, microbial growth, and proper digestive tract pH. A unique combination of chemical properties, total acid consuming capacity, and rate of solubility helps it to support optimum digestive tract conditions. MIN-AD can be used in dry supplements or buffer packs, either as a loose mix or in pellets. It can also be fed free choice. An ultra-fine form of MIN-AD can be used for liquid feed suspensions.
