We also supply high temperature insulation materials and health and safety products including pvc door curtain, foam protection profiles and GRP anti-slip floorings. We stock hose and ducting and can manufacture hose assemblies using our extensive range of couplings and clamps. PAR Group serve a wide range of industries including: food, drink and pharmaceutical, water treatment, chemical, brewing, mining and quarrying, aerospace, brick manufacture, packaging, textiles and distribution. Our customers range from multinational blue chip organizations through to sole traders, with every customer receiving the very highest care and attention from our dedicated sales staff. Nylon 66

PAR Group Nylon 6 Flame Retardant Sheet retains the same mechanical properties of regular nylon 6 while adding the benefit of being flame retardant. It has been tested to the new EU rail vehicle standard (DIN EN 45545-2:2013) and is rated to UL94 V-0. It's low density also provides significant weight benefits in comparison to other materials such as steel.

PAR Group Acetal Sheet - Metal &amp; X-Ray Detectable has good impact resistance and provides good dimensional strength. It combines good stiffness, dimensional stability and impact strength while remaining easy to machine. It contains very fine material additives making it detectable to most metal detector equipment.

Nylon 66 sheet offers a higher mechanical strength, stiffness, heat and wear resistance than nylon 6. It also has a better creep resistance but lower impact strength and is approved for food contact. Nylon 66 benefits over Nylon 6 extruded: Higher temperature rating, lower impact strength and mechanical damping. Higher wear resistance and easier to machine.

PAR Group Peek Metal Detectable Sheet is an ideal solution for machined components which are subject to multiple sterilizations, such as CIP (cleaning in place) and SIP (sterilization in place) applications. It is suitable for food approved components which require increased stiffness without the need for reinforcement. It contains very fine material additives making it detectable to most metal detector scanning equipment. Our blue metal detectable PEEK also contains a solid lubricant which provides better sliding properties over standard PEEK products.

PAR Group Acetal Sheet (polyoxymethylene copolymer), commonly referred to as POM-C, is a strong, rigid semi-crystalline thermoplastic that provides good sliding properties, high mechanical strength and excellent resistance to impact and wear.

PAR Group Nylon 6 MoS2 Extruded Sheet offers increased load bearing and wear resistance, whilst maintaining the impact and fatigue resistance of standard nylon grades. It is self-lubricating, electrically insulating and has a high fatigue resistance. We also manufacture our own brand of Corromide® CMF (Nylon 6 Sheet - MoS2 Filled Cast) in sheets, rods and tubes. Our MoS2 Filled Cast Nylon 6 is available in greater sheet thicknesses and offers a higher temperature rating compared to MoS2 Filled Extruded Nylon 6. PAR Group Peek Carbon Filled Sheet maintains all the significant benefits of standard PEEK material such as excellent chemical and radiation resistance, high dimensional stability and high resistance to creep. The carbon fiber reinforcement helps to improve the wear properties of the material as they are typically less abrasive than the fibers used in the glass filled alternative. Carbon filled PEEK sheet is also flame retardant, self-extinguishing and electrically conductive, making for an extremely versatile material.
