PAR Group PET Sheet (polyethylene terephthalate) is a common thermoplastic that provides high dimensional stability, excellent mechanical strength and good resistance to creep. It offers resistance to chemicals, provides very low moisture absorption and is a good electrical insulator. PET sheet also performs well in wear applications and has a tough, hard surface that can be easily machined and polished. At PAR Group, we have the capability to machine polyethylene terephthalate utilizing our in-house 5 axis CNC technology. We commonly manufacture PET into a range of components such as bearings, gear wheels, control disks and insulators for electrical engineering applications. It can also be converted into tank lids, pump parts and friction strips, or be used as a gas barrier. PAR Group ABS sheet is a tough, rigid plastic, with high impact strength properties. It is easy to machine, form, bond and weld and provides very good electrical insulation. ABS sheet has low water absorption and is resistant to most acids and alkalis of medium concentration.

PAR Group Acetal Sheet (polyoxymethylene copolymer), commonly referred to as POM-C, is a strong, rigid semi-crystalline thermoplastic that provides good sliding properties, high mechanical strength and excellent resistance to impact and wear.

Delrin® Acetal Homopolymer Sheet is a strong, rigid plastic with a higher mechanical strength, hardness and creep resistance than Acetal copolymer. It also has a high resistance to wear, but is not resistant to long term immersion in water in temperatures over +60°C.
