PAT-ADD AF 5210 is a polymeric defoamer for use in varnishes and low pigmented coatings. The product shows an extremely wide range of compatibility, with solvent borne, waterborne as well as solvent-free systems. PAT-ADD AF 5210 does not contain mineral oil nor polysiloxane compounds and is considered as being based on green chemistry. PAT-ADD AF 5210 is extremely versatile in application and is efficient to combat macro as well as micro-foaming.

Dosage & Addition

The optimal amount of PAT-ADD AF 5210 to be used is system related, but generally is between 0,2 and 1,5 % PAT-ADD AF 5210, calculated on the total weight of formulation. Although the product is easily incorporable, effective mixing conditions are required for the optimal effect. The optimum concentration to be used depends on the individual requirements and conditions.
