PAT-ADD LE 1065 is a very efficient surface tension modifier, effective at very low concentrations. The product demonstrates excellent efficiency in promoting film leveling and avoiding formation of craters. Moreover, PAT-ADD LE 1065 provides excellent surface smoothness, slip and mar resistance, counteracts pigment floating. Moreover, generally substrate adhesion is improved, specially for applications onto low surface tension materials, like most plastics. PAT-ADD LE 1065 is suitable for use in pigmented as well as clear coating systems.
- Benefits
- Most effective leveling agent
- Largely based on green chemistry
- Excellent compatibility, high transparency lacquers
- Effective in UPR systems, PUR-, NC-, TPA-paints and varnishes

- Application
Efficient surface tension modifier, at very low concentrations. Excellent efficiency in promoting film leveling and avoiding formation of craters.Sutable for solvent-borne systems, notably for UPR and PUR systems. approximately 50% polysiloxane.
- Dosage & Addition
The optimal amount of PAT-ADD LE 1065 to be used is system and application related. PAT-ADD LE 1065 may be added to the formulation during any stage of paint production. Following dosages, calculated on the total weight of paint formulation, are recommended to ensure proper performance typically 0,2 to 1,0%. It is strongly recommended to evaluate performance and compatibility empirically, applying close-to-practice test conditions. The optimum concentration to be used depends on the individual requirements and conditions.
