Features & Benefits

Properties

PAT-ADD LE 1066 is a very efficient surface tension modifier, effective at very low concentrations. The product demonstrates excellent efficiency, avoiding formation of craters, pinholes and poor substrate coverage of coatings applied at low up to high layer thickness. PAT-ADD LE 1066 provides excellent surface smoothness. The product is suitable for use in pigmented as well as clear coating systems. Optimal performance is reached using PAT-ADD LE 1066 in conjunction with pigment dispersant PAT-ADD DA 948

Benefits
  • Specially designed for use in floor coatings
  • Most effective leveling agent
  • Excellent compatibility, high transparency lacquers
  • Effective in EP, PUR as well aspartic coating syste

Dosage & Addition

The optimal amount of PAT-ADD LE 1066 to be used is system and application related. PAT-ADD LE 1066 may be added to the formulation during any stage of paint production. Following dosages, calculated on the total weight of paint formulation, are recommended to ensure proper performance: 0.2 to 0.6%. It is strongly recommended to evaluate performance and compatibility empirically, applying close-topractice test conditions. The optimum concentration to be used depends on the individual requirements and conditions.
