PCW PP Fiberglass/Glass beads is with optimum resilience and strength. The increasing substitution of highly technical plastics – e.g. PBT by PP compounds – expands the application range tremendously. By reinforcing the plastic matrix with fiberglass, it is possible to increase rigidity, resilience, strength, and creep resistance in the component and even achieve the mechanical properties of high-class plastics without any problems. If higher rigidity or compression strength is necessary in a material or a tendency to warp must be reduced, glass beads or also a fiberglass/glass bead mix can be used for PP modification. Another advantage of using glass beads is improved surface quality. Therefore the use of glass beads in so-called Class A parts is also possible.
