"The company PCW Gmbh was established in 1887. At that time the Deutsche Celluloid Fabrik was founded as one of the world’s first PVC processing factories at the site in Eilenburg, Germany. Thus the foundation was laid for the tradition-steeped company which is today family-owned. In 2006 the Polyplast Müller Group took over the company, which was operating under the name of Eilenburger Compound Werk GmbH at that time.

To meet the requirements and developments in the plastic processing field, investments were made in the double-digit million range, which went into the optimization of the existing plants and the erection of modern, highly productive compounding systems and a new infrastructure. This resulted in the formation of a state-of-the-art development production facility.

The product portfolio also harks back to a long tradition. Under the brand name Decelith, PVC products have been sold around the world since 1936.

The well-known product range is continuously expanded by new product groups including e.g. further developments in the field of polypropylenes (PP) and thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), which are a perfect supplement to the existing rigid and flexible PVC products. These materials were added to the product portfolio under the brand names Saxene and Saxomer.

In addition to the products established in the market, we also cater to customer-specific requirements. A team of experienced engineers and technicians is available to support you with application-specific product developments."

Under the trade name Decelith® we develop and produce rigid as well as flexible PVC compounds. These compounds are used in a diverse range of industrial sectors, such as the construction and electrical industry or also the automotive sector, just to name a few.

Decelith

PCW PP Talcum are compounds based on homopolymers and copolymers in a diverse range of filler contents and color settings. Reinforcements in the form of talcum or chalk are used to improve rigidity, increase mechanical strength, heat resistance, and dimensional stability. In addition, specially selected fillers are used to achieve specific optical effects. And it is ready-mixed saves time and costs.

PCW TPE-S is also known as SEBS or (H)SBC. It is a material based on styrene block copolymer, consisting of rigid end blocks (polystyrene) and a flexible middle block (e.g. ethylene-butylene). There are some other different variations such as SBS, SEPS, or SEEPS, each with different property profiles. A great advantage of TPE-S is the large hardness range from 30 ShA to approx. 60 ShD, plus a very wide range of modification possibilities. We specialize in this material, We would be happy to show you individual solutions for your products.

Decelith® 62021 by Polyplast Compound Werk is an elastomer modified, lead free, stabilized flexible polyvinylchloride (PVC) grade. Possesses good mechanical properties, excellent cold flexibility, recyclability, enhanced oil resistance, large processing width and good chemical resistance. Decelith® 62021 is suitable for cable jacketing applications and recommended for drag chain applications and musical instruments.

Decelith® 65501 by Polyplast Compound Werk is a lead free, stabilized and recyclable polyvinylchloride (PVC) grade. Offers large processing width and good chemical resistance. Decelith® 65501 is suitable for cable jacketing applications. Is a VDE 0207 compliant for cable types like YI1, YI2, YM1, YM2.

Decelith® 63138 by Polyplast Compound Werk is a crystal clear, soft polyvinylchloride (PVC) grade. Possesses recyclability and offers large processing width and good chemical resistance. Can be processed by extrusion. Decelith® 63138 is recommended for cable insulation and jacketing. Suitable for applications with high expectations on the visual appearance and is a VDE 0207 compliant.

PCW TPE-O is from rigid to flexible. It is basically a plasticized polypropylene. Usually this material consists of alloyed unlinked rubber and a polypropylene. Different material combinations (e.g. with EPDM or EVA) are possible. This material is very resilient, slightly elastic, and is available in types from approx. 60 ShD. PCW PP Flame retardants have naturally responded to the more stringent demands in the electrical and construction industry. PCW therefore offers a wide portfolio of especially flame-resistant PP types. We thereby cover a wide range of requirements and standards, such as UL 94 V0-V2 or the VDE 0207 glowing wire test. Our recipes contain halogenated as well as halogen-free flame retardants. They are also PBDE-free and thus meet RoHS guidelines. And it is for maximum flame and fire protection.

Decelith® 65201 by Polyplast Compound Werk is a cold flexible, lead free and highly flame retardant polyvinylchloride (PVC) grade. Possesses recyclability and offers large processing width and good chemical resistance. Decelith® 65201 is recommended for cable jacketing. Decelith® 65201 is a UL compliant at 90°C.
