PCW PP Fiberglass/Glass beads is with optimum resilience and strength. The increasing substitution of highly technical plastics – e.g. PBT by PP compounds – expands the application range tremendously. By reinforcing the plastic matrix with fiberglass, it is possible to increase rigidity, resilience, strength, and creep resistance in the component and even achieve the mechanical properties of high-class plastics without any problems. If higher rigidity or compression strength is necessary in a material or a tendency to warp must be reduced, glass beads or also a fiberglass/glass bead mix can be used for PP modification. Another advantage of using glass beads is improved surface quality. Therefore the use of glass beads in so-called Class A parts is also possible.

PCW PP Flame retardants have naturally responded to the more stringent demands in the electrical and construction industry. PCW therefore offers a wide portfolio of especially flame-resistant PP types. We thereby cover a wide range of requirements and standards, such as UL 94 V0-V2 or the VDE 0207 glowing wire test. Our recipes contain halogenated as well as halogen-free flame retardants. They are also PBDE-free and thus meet RoHS guidelines. And it is for maximum flame and fire protection.

PCW PP Electric conductive is outstanding performance guaranteed. One special core competency at PCW lies in the field of electrically conductive compounds (ECs), which vary in a resistance range from >10 Ω to < 106 Ω and thus meet the standard DIN EN 61340, or even exceed it. They feature shielding to dissipative properties. Our customers have long relied on us as a competent partner when it comes to preventing electrostatic discharge and protecting explosive environments and EMI shielding with conductive plastics.
