PeelPioneers is the peel farmer of the 21st century. We have a circular solution for peels that remain after making fresh juice. We at PeelPioneers process the orange peels, which would otherwise be incinerated as waste, into functional ingredients for the food industry. This leaves nothing of the orange unused. And we offer a local alternative to many products and companies in the chain. The company was founded in 2017 by Lindy Hensen, Bas van Wieringen and Sytze van Stempvoort and opened the first orange peel factory in the world in 2018 where more than 10 million kilos of peels are processed per year.
